We really enjoyed our 4 night stay here. The hotel is quiet, peaceful and very clean and well maintained. The bed was comfortable and we loved relaxing on the terrace with the beautiful view of the mountains. The location is only a few blocks from the centro and there are lots of restaurants nearby.
The location is near all Town activities bars, restaurants, entertainment. Everything is within walking distance. Food local cuisine Street vendors all is reachable within a short walking distance. Antonio always receives us with open arms and is very accommodating. It is our go-to place when we are in tepoztlan. We are always greeted by patch their female husky.
Fantastic hotel. The rooms are clean. Staff is amazing and friendly. The view from the terrace is beautiful. The city center is a short and easy walk away. Loved our stay here <3
The good... It's a clean, safe place to sleep and leave your stuff while you explore the beautiful city. It was very clean, they did a great job taking care of the room every day, kept me supplied in bottled water, the owner was very friendly.. Always smiling and asking how you were. The bad... Rooms are extremely basic, can't have the window open without the world looking in, and has no screen. There is no AC, and ceiling fan didn't work. (there was a big floor fan) I would stay here again, but my wife wants AC.
I stayed at Hotel Artesanos XI from April 3rd to 6th, and it was a wonderful experience. The owner, Antonio, is incredibly honest, reliable, and always willing to help. He made me feel safe and well taken care of. He also has a dog named Bazzi — super cute and energetic, definitely the little star of the place! The location is excellent — just a 4-minute walk from the main square, so it’s very convenient but also peaceful and quiet. Although the room doesn’t have a TV or air conditioning, I was out hiking during the day and felt tired when I came back. After a shower and with decent Wi-Fi, I just relaxed with my phone and slept well. The whole atmosphere felt calm, safe, and cozy. If you’re visiting Tepoztlán and looking to connect with the energy and tranquility of the mountains, I highly recommend this hotel!
We loved this hotel! Antonio is an excellent host. The views from the rooftop patio are spectacular. Great location with an easy 5 minute walk to the weekend action, shops and restaurants, but quiet for sleeping.
